322nd Bomb Group Collection

This grouping of photographs and memorabilia belonged to B-26 NAVIGATOR 2nd Lt. C.J. Stasukevich from Beloit WI. He was an Air gunner, and was promoted to Navigator, as he had some college education. He flew B-26's in the 9th Air Force, 322nd Bomb Group, 449th Bomb Squadron. Grouping Includes: His Navigator's WING, Air Medal, Good Conduct Medal, ETO, WWII Victory, American Campaign Ribbon bars, 9th and standard Army Air Corps Patches, Air cadet patch, named clothing tag removed from moldy unsaveable tunic, and other Rank & Collar insignia as shown (memorabilia). The HIGHLIGHT of this grouping is the PHOTO ALBUM which is an old German Book (cover emblem shown above) with Pictures of B-26 in Flight, being shot down, on Bomb runs, and also includes several NOSE ART Photos of Li'L ASS and the Famous FLAK BAIT. There are also pics of Bombed out cities, Dachau concentration Camp, Etc. They are divided by categories above. This collection will take you off site to (contributed by Jason Pence).
